Overview
Low-voltage overhead power line insulators are used exclusively in AC or DC power lines with operating voltages of 1,000 volts or less to provide insulation and secure the conductors. They include: low-voltage pin-type insulators (referred to as pin insulators); low-voltage butterfly-type insulators (referred to as butterfly insulators); and low-voltage rod-type insulators (referred to as rod insulators).
Structure and Model Description
1. Low-voltage line pin-type insulators are assembled from porcelain components and iron feet. The top of the porcelain body features a wire groove, which bears the conductor load, while the lower portion is equipped with shed skirts that provide a long creepage distance and offer a certain level of electrical insulation performance. The newly redesigned standard product is smaller in size, lighter in weight, and exhibits improved self‑cleaning properties, while its electromechanical performance remains at the same level as that of the previous model.

2. Butterfly-type insulators feature two large shed skirts shaped like a butterfly; the conductor is tied between the two sheds, with a central hole through which a pin is inserted to secure the insulator to the crossarm. Our factory also supplies butterfly-type insulators in a three-shed configuration for export.

3. Spool-type insulators have two or more ribs; the conductor is tied between the upper and lower sheds, with a central hole for securing the connection to the crossarm or cleat using a pin.
