Overview
Insulators for low-voltage overhead power lines are used exclusively in AC or DC power lines operating at frequencies below 1000 volts, serving the purposes of insulation and securing conductors. These include: low-voltage line pin insulators (referred to as pin insulators); low-voltage line disc insulators (referred to as disc insulators); and low-voltage spool-type insulators (referred to as spool insulators).
Structure and Model Description
1. Low-voltage line pin-type insulators are assembled from porcelain components and iron feet. The porcelain part features a groove at the top, which serves as the support point for the conductor, while the lower section is equipped with umbrella-shaped skirts, providing a longer leakage distance and ensuring adequate electrical insulation performance. The newly redesigned standard product boasts smaller dimensions and lighter weight compared to the older model, while also offering excellent self-cleaning properties. Notably, its electromechanical performance remains on par with that of the original model.
PD—Low-voltage line pin-type insulators are used, and the numbers 1, 2, or 3 following the dash indicate the product’s shape and size sequence. Number 1 represents the largest-sized version, while T, M, and W stand for iron crossarm, wooden crossarm, and curved foot, respectively.
2. The butterfly insulator features two larger umbrella skirts shaped like a butterfly, with conductors tied between the two "wings." It has a central perforation for securing and connecting to the crossarm via a pin. Additionally, our factory also supplies butterfly insulators with a three-umbrella design for export markets.

3. The spool-type insulator features two or more ridges, with conductors tied between the upper and lower sheds and a central perforation for securing the insulator—via a pin—to either the crossarm or cleat.
